from here and the beyond. soulful.

How do solve you a problem like ‘ideas’? How do you catch the zeitgeist and pin it down? To me, creative thoughts are, in essence, neither here, nor there. Our source of inspiration is as mysterious as our gut intuition and as random as lottery numbers. They belong to us just as much as the sky above. I see art as a spiritual practice. It’s a way of staying connected to myself and to the beyond.

I love words. They shape our thoughts, our emotions and our overall communication. They have extensive life stories and hold many facets. And you can never have enough of them: some change and a whole bunch pop up every day.

When in written form, they ignite our imagination by creating images, sounds and entire universes, all inside our heads. Endless possibilities, countless variations. That’s what I hope my writing accomplishes.

Let’s traverse many worlds together.

There’s a Brazilian word that I love, and it’s called ‘gambiarra’. It’s about being clever and improvising to get the job done. That’s what being ingenious means to me. It’s a lifestyle with solutions to use now or save for a rainy day.

To riff on my sister’s first tattoo: creativity is the heartbeat of the soul. It propels goals, dreams and even faith. Be it at work or in our personal routines, being creative doesn’t call for clearly pre-defined formats or frameworks. It just is.

Let’s unleash our potential together.
